edition” in India on Wednesday. The car has been launched with number of up gradations which makes it more appealing than ever before.
The exteriors of the new Accent gets a new look with a chrome finish front grille. The body coloured sideline molding is equipped with chrome inserts. Besides the car also has a new chrome garnish over license plate.
Speaking at the launch, Hyundai Motor India Director Sales and Marketing Arvind Saxena said, “The Accent 2011 edition comes with elegant styling which makes it more sophisticated and desirable. It is our continuous effort to gauge changing customer preferences and keep introducing new features in our products.We are confident that with the new styling the Accent 2011 edition will become even more popular.”
Hyundai Accent comes in two variants i.e. Hyundai Accent Executive and Hyundai Accent LPG. Both the variants are powered by the same engine capacity that is 1.5 liter, 1495cc, 4 cylinder, SOHC engine that produces 95 Ps at 5500 rpm and generates a top torque of 12.7 kgf-m at 3500 rpm. The car engine is incorporated with a five speed manual gearbox for enhanced performance.
The Hyundai Accent comes with stylish interior and seating arrangement that gives it a feel of a premium car. It also has wooden finish panels at doors that give it a classic look. The dashboard of the Hyundai Accent sports a simple but readable instrument panel, AC vents and glove box. The sedan can accommodate five passengers including the driver.
